I got a chance to try Microsoft Office 2007. The new features are great. One of them is facility to post to your blog using Microsoft Word 2007. It makes you possible to create new post or modify existing post on your blog. Platform supported are Windows Live Space, Blogger, SharePoint Blog, Community Server, TypePad, and Wordpress. I have been used this, it’s quite helpful. Here is the tutorial I made.

1. Open your Word 2007
2. From the menu choose New
3. Choose New blog post

   

4. There is an option to register new blog account.
5. Choose your blog platform

   

6. Press Next, there will be screen to input your blog and user account

   

7. Click the picture option to set your server to host images at your blog.

   

   I choose My own server. I host my images on the same hosting as my blog.

   

8. After finish fill up the information, you can click OK and start creating your post.
9. You can insert category by click on ‘Insert Category’ icon at the top

   

10. After finished your post press Publish. You’ll have to provide your username and password for your ftp account.

You can also make changes on the existing post by clicking ‘Open Existing’ icon.

Use Manage Account, if you want to add other blog account.
